Focus Groups

Focus groups are useful for gauging group opinions. They provide many of the benefits of in-person and intercept surveys, such as detailed responses, while reducing the costs associated with these more labor intensive methods. However, successful focus groups require a skilled and well-trained moderator.

The Florida Survey Research Center can help you implement successful focus groups -- either by managing all aspects of the process, or by enabling you to conduct your own research. The FSRC provides skilled moderators who can lead the discussion through an established protocol, video and/or audio taping equipment, transcription services, and analysis.
