Intercept Surveys

Because they are conducted in person, intercept surveys often boast high completion rates and detailed, accurate data. These types of surveys, however, are typically very labor intensive and require personnel co-ordination and training, in addition to the important elements of questionnaire construction and sampling.

The Florida Survey Research Center has planned and implemented intercept surveys and door-to-door neighborhood surveys for several businesses and communities. The FSRC manages all aspects of in-person surveying -- developing questionnaires, sampling, hiring and training appropriate interviewers, overseeing personnel on-site, data gathering, data reduction and data set construction, and data analysis.
