Mail Surveys

Mail surveys are best suited for collecting information from a targeted population, such as an organization or association membership base. These types of surveys work best when simple, direct, fixed-response questions are utilized. Question wording, question grouping, and questionnaire layout and presentation are particularly important.

Researchers at the FSRC have years of experience designing and implementing mail surveys, both large- and small-scale. The Florida Survey Research Center manages all aspects of mail surveys -- questionnaire development and design, printing, mailing, collection, follow-up reminders, data reduction and data set construction, and data analysis.
